Re: Sanyo heating and cooling system

Depending on your existing system and size of your home, a sanyo type unit is normally not used to heat an entire home. This type of ductless unit is primarily designed for an add on room or office type application. Replacement of an existing heating/cooling system is a very important purchase and is probaly the third most expensive purchase a family will make. The home being first and a car being second. There are several options available today with efficiency being the primary concern as utility costs continue to rise. If your existing system is over ten years old, almost anything you install today will be more efficient and start saving you money right away. Normally it is less expensive to go with similar type equipment than it is to change over to another type of system. If you have central air conditioning, you probably have a forced air duct system and should install a new forced air furnace with an air conditioner. If you have a hot water system such as radiators or baseboard heat with a separate cooling duct system then each system is independent and can be addressed separately. For more info on the sanyo ductless splits, just enter ductless split on the internet and there are several manufacturers of this type of equipment. Sanyo and Mitsubishi are probably the two largest.  If I can answer any other questions, please feel free to email me at dougport@juno.com or call me at Ace Metal Products, Inc. Thanks,

    Doug Porter
