In looking over this thread I might have mis-read what you wrote originally too. Good plumbers - or good anything - are so hard to find. One great mystery for me with workmen is something that has happened to us several times - we finally find someone who wants to do what he advertises he does for a living (miracle!) and who shows up on time and does a good job for a fair price (multiple miracles!). Then after doing a few jobs for us, and with all parties apparently happy with the way things are going, he disappears. I've heard other people mention this phenomenon too. No one seems to have any explanation for it. Is the man's parole revoked? Is he recalled to the Mothership?
But I digress. Sorry for misunderstanding your original post and I hope someone here can recommend a good plumber in your area.
