Hi, I'm looking for a good plumber in the area, my father use to use Scardina Plumbing but I read a very low rating review on them and not sure if they've improved since then. 

 My mother is selling the house and we need to get some plumbing items inspected for any repairs...thanks!

I would suggest Len The Plumber.  They did my polybutylene pipe replacement job described above and I was very pleased with their work.

It's sad to say but some angie's list members have been using the rating system to vent their fustrations, and misfortune with past contractors.

So i would say believe half the bad reports out there. Especially do to the fact competitors, could have friends/family leave false reports. Make your own mind up, call the company that you originaly wanted to use, and ask them about that review.

I can bet that half the stories out there about bad contractors, are begun by customers who don't want to pay their bills, don't pay their bills, or feel as they are so special they should not be charged, and want everything done for free.

Thanks for posting as an active member of the Angie’s List message board. I just wanted to address some concerns you’ve made in your various posts, including this one.  Each report that is submitted on a service provider is first reviewed by a real person at Angie’s List.  Then, the information from that report is shared with the service provider. The service provider also has the opportunity to respond to each report before it is posted to the Angie's List web site.  If the service provider disputes the claim in the report, Angie’s List then contacts the member who submitted the report and requires that member to provide proof that work was done with that contractor. If the member cannot validate their claims, the report is not posted on Angie’s List until/if they can. If you are a service provider and have an issue with a report submitted on you, please feel free to contact me directly through the private forum email and we can look into your concerns.
