  • Lack of ventilation with spray foam insulation

I am planning on reroofing and redoing the insulation in my home in the Central Valley of California. The spray foam insulation salesman says they would seal up the attic and enclose the attic space with insulation so that it will be the same tempurature as the interior of the house. He also says the foam will block moisture so you ...

  • Above All Construction - Indianapolis/Greenwood, IN

Has anyone used this company before?  I am possibly going to use them to do some roofing work.  Any positive or negative feedback would be greatly appreciated.  They handle insurance claim work.

  • Multiple Locations?

We own our house here in Northern Virginia and also own a house in Denver that we rent.  I looked on the FAQ to learn if I would have access to the Angie's List contractors ratings in both cities if I joined but did not find an answer to that question.  It is 9:15 PM here in DC and apparently the Angie's List offices on the West ...

  • Re: Attic insulation

Ron,   Check out my review of Absolute Insulation if you are in the Washington, DC area.  I just had my insulation upgraded. They charged a fair price and the job was done well. I knew about the situation where it is necessary to have air circulate out of the attic although it is contra-intuitive. How a freezing cold attic can keep ...
