Is anyone familiar with the Hallowell Acadia heat pump system? We live in CT and currently have an oil furnace with baseboards. Since we want central air and need to run the duct work anyway, we thought this system might be a good solution. Any thoughts or personal experience?

Ron, Check out my review of Absolute Insulation if you are in the Washington, DC area. I just had my insulation upgraded. They charged a fair price and the job was done well. I'm getting 80% new windows and adding eight inches of insulation. I also got a new storm door. I keep the house at 60 all winter and don't use air conditioning so that's about all I can think of.
